Designed with practicality in mind, the pergola includes an integrated drainage system that efficiently channels rainwater away. Water landing on the louvres is directed into U-shaped channels, preventing pooling on the surface. From there, it flows into the framework, then down through the legs and safely onto the ground. While highly effective, it’s worth noting that no pergola is fully watertight. In heavy or torrential rain, the volume of water may exceed the system’s capacity, potentially resulting in minor leakage, similar to how house gutters can overflow.

Assembly is straightforward but requires 2–3 people and typically takes around 2–3 hours to complete. For best results, the pergola should be installed on a solid surface. Once assembled, it is essential to secure the structure to the ground using the provided bolts. Failure to do so may compromise stability, leading to movement or misalignment of the frame, and reducing overall safety and longevity.

Weather Conditions

We strongly advise assembling your pergola in calm and suitable weather conditions. This ensures a safer installation process and helps avoid unnecessary risks during setup.

Surface Requirements

For optimal performance, PergoSTET pergolas must be installed on a level surface. A standard patio fall of 1:80 for water runoff is acceptable. However, steeper gradients may impact drainage efficiency and could potentially void the warranty.
